Savage 1899 Takedown 22 HP $850

Here we have a Savage Model 1899 takedown in .22 Savage Hi Power. Barrel measures 22". Serial number is 161050 dating the rifle to 1914. It is equipped with a JC Higgins 4x Scope.

Receiver is patina, lever retains a moderate amount of finish, Barrel retains most of its finished with a bit of finish loss at the front. The wood shows a moderate amount of handling marks and a repaired crack from the right side of the top tang. The butt plate is nicely made serrated wooden piece. They rifle appears to function properly. Bore is nice and bright with minor wear.
