Marlin Model 444 $1400

Here we have a very nice vintage Marlin model 444 in .444 Marlin with 24" micro-groove barrel. The rifle dates to 1965, which is fairly early for a 444. It is in very good condition overall. The metal shows a scratch to the left of the front sight and a small patch of freckling behind the rear sight, as well as a bit of tarnishing on the trigger and some other minor marks. The forend has some minor damage on the left side, there are some other minor handling marks in the wood. It appears to function properly. The bore bright but may have some minor imperfections.
